IHIP is a swiss association and is by default regulated by Swiss legislation.

You may be asked to provide your personal information anytime you are in contact with IHIP. IHIP and its member may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. They may also combine it with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising.

• When you download a document, register for an event, or participate in an online survey, we may collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.

How we use your personal information

• The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on IHIP latest announcements and upcoming events. It also helps us to improve our services, content, and outreach strategy. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by unsubscribing from the newsletter or sending an email to contact@ihip.earth.
  
• We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve IHIP’s content, services, and customer communications.

Collection and Use of Project Information

Project information is data that can be used to uniquely identify  a single project.

You will be asked to provide your project information if you decide to register your project through the IHIP platform. IHIP and its member may share this project information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Project information will stay private and will not be shared outside IHIP membership. We will never rent or sell your project information.

The project information once made anonymous, meaning we delete all information which could identify your project, can be consolidated by IHIP with other project information to obtain trends and statistics. IHIP reserves its right to make those trends and statistic public.

Information we collect automatically: cookies and web analytics

We automatically collect information through the IHIP website to help administer, protect, and improve our services.

Such information may include information regarding your device, such as your IP address, your operating system and your browser activity, location of the device accessing the website, traffic data (such as the pages you visited on our website, the time spent on the website, number of downloads from the website) and interactions with social media platforms (such as sharing of elements from the IHIP website to social media accounts). How long do we keep your data?

We will keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected them for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or archiving requirements.

When we no longer need your personal data, or when you request they be erased to stop receiving our messages, we will delete your data.
